Demetrian Titus

Demetrian Titus is a veteran of the Ultramarines whose career has carried him through some of the Chapter’s most consequential wars. He began as a warrior of the Second Company and rose to its command, earning a reputation for direct action, stubborn resolve, and a willingness to meet dangerous enemies at close quarters.

His first command was marked by the disastrous defence of the forge world Graia. Titus killed the Chaos Sorcerer Nemeroth, but his apparent resistance to the Warp drew the suspicion of Inquisitor Thrax. After being taken into custody, Titus ultimately chose not to return immediately to the Chapter he believed he had shamed. Instead, he served in the Deathwatch as a Black Shield, continuing the fight far from the Ultramarines.

Years later, Titus returned to the Chapter as a Primaris Space Marine. He served under Captain Sevastus Acheran and fought through the wars of the Recidious System and the Fourth Tyrannic War. His service and victories restored the confidence of his brothers and placed him in position to reclaim command of the Second Company.

Following Acheran’s death on Trygg, Titus accepted command once again. At the opening of Grimm’s Five Hundred Worlds campaign, he serves as Captain of the Ultramarines Second Company and Master of the Watch. His command is supported by the Wardens of Ultramar, a specialist cadre of allies and warriors gathered around him.

Campaign Role

At the beginning of Grimm’s 500 Worlds campaign, Titus is a principal Ultramarines commander whose established history now becomes part of the archive’s living record. Future battles, decisions, alliances, and losses will be added to this record only as they occur within the campaign.
